"Poured washes stain the canvas in shapes that are both planned and organic—a quiet push and pull between planning and letting go. Some were painted after my daughter fell asleep. Others while she played nearby, or during a stretch of time that felt entirely mine. What I remember isn’t always the big moment—it’s the light on the floor, the sound of her voice down the hall, the way color settled into shape with the sunlight.
Each piece is a record of what stayed with me. This is the part I remember."
