"The L'Abri Series explores hidden spaces of refuge through layered paper constructions and recessed space. Each work contains a chamber — a defined void where light and shadow reveal intimate places of shelter. Inspired by caves, hollows and the protective forms found within the landscape, these quiet structures evoke stillness, sanctuary and retreat. Like entering a hidden cave, each sculpture reveals a sequence of sculpted chambers where light filters through darkness, inviting contemplation and a quiet sense of discovery."
