Àngels Grau Catalán, Spain, b. 1967

Àngels Grau is a Catalan artist who spends her time between Barcelona, New York, and Escaladei, a small village located in the breathtaking Priorat, one of the most notorious wine regions in Europe. The travel between these places allow Àngels to live the best of three worlds bringing together the creativity and passion that her paintings exuberate.

Born to a family of artists, Àngels grew up surrounded by drawings, tapestries, and
paintings which awakened a special sentiment that over time matured into her work today. A
graphic designer first and painter by evolution, in 2018 she decided to make the leap
into becoming a full-time artist. Nothing has stopped her since.
Àngels travelled the world and brought up four children. She wants to empower the role of women inspired by her own journey. Her series  “Invisible Women” is a tribute to each and every woman that fights from anonymous positions, in everyday jobs and everyday lives, to improve their family, their society, their world.

Àngels' work is part of the personal art collections of Anthony Ledru, President and CEO of Tiffany & Co, Ramon Laguarta, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo, Tony Spring, President and Chief Executive Officer-Elect of Macy’s and Valentin Fuster, past President of the American Heart Association, past President of the World Heart Federation.
