"The Chroma Series explores colour through layered paper constructions and recessed space. Each work contains a chamber — a defined void where colour is held within sculpted layers of white paper. Through the interaction of light, shadow and form, these quiet structures reveal the shifting relationships between colour and perception, inviting the viewer to look beyond the surface and discover how colour can transform space, depth and emotion.

This specific work in the series investigates the interaction of red, green and blue. Although each sculpture contains the same three colours, altering the sequence and depth of the layers creates distinctly different visual experiences, revealing the changing relationships between colour, light and perception."
