Brian Reinker American, b. 1960

Brian Reinker, born in Cleveland (US), is living and working in London (UK) from the beautiful refurbished Eurotunnel construction workers’ lodges at Waterloo station. Brian studied Architecture and Fine Art at the University of Cincinnati (US) and this training is visible throughout his work today. He carefully balances colour theory with an unmistakable personal vision. His definitive use of colour echoes his studied approach to art and his exactitude in construction. His works organise our visual world by indexing individual elements with a disciplined approach to execution. Embracing repetition, juxtaposition and shifting perspectives, Reinker’s practice probes our understanding of visual representation.
Saatchi Art nominated him as one of 21 Artists to collect in 2021 and he was selected to exhibit at the 2021 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. He has participated in numerous solo, joint and group exhibitions including The Other Art Fair, London. His work can be found in collections in the UK,
the Americas, Europe, the Far East and Australia.
